1	immobilise your phone now. If you're on Orange pay monthly call: 07973 100 150 or 07973 100 450 for pay as you go. For more information on blocking your phone call 08701 123 123

2	contact the nearest police station to where your phone was stolen or lost

3	if you have Orange Care, call 07973 100 150

stop thieves from using your phone

The new Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) enables Orange and the other UK mobile operators to share information on stolen phones, creating a central record of the IMEI numbers of blacklisted phones.

Orange have operated its own Equipment Identity Register (EIR) of phone IMEI numbers since 1994; this enables us to prevent any Orange phone from being used. We can also block the SIM card to prevent it being used too.

The introduction of the CEIR means that from now on, if your phone is reported stolen it can be blacklisted by all the UK mobile operators. This prevents anyone from changing the SIM card and using the phone on another UK network.
