Yes, you can, but we recommend you always use your home broadband connection when you are at home because you get faster speed and you have higher usage allowance.

How much usage do I have with this service?

You have 3GB for your mobile broadband connection and 10GB for your home broadband connection.

Can I get the service if I don’t live in an Orange broadband network area?

You can still get home and mobile broadband, but you need to pay £8 more. Internet Everywhere will still be £15, but Home Starter will cost you £13 instead of £5.

Can you buy mobile broadband and let someone else have the home broadband?

The person who buys the mobile broadband has to be the same person who receives the home broadband. It cannot be given to someone else.

I have just bought Home Starter. Can I buy Internet Everywhere and change my home broadband package?

Yes, you can. You simply have to call 0800 075 5563.

What happens when my Internet Everywhere contract terminates?

You will continue paying ?5 for Home Starter as long as you remain an Internet Everywhere customer.

How do I sign up?

Just follow the online steps, and your broadband will be delivered to your door.

Do I need to pass a credit check?

Yes - we do a standard credit check for all orders that include a mobile broadband service.

What is your returns and cancellations policy?

If you do not have coverage for your mobile broadband connection at your main point of use, you can send back the dongle within two weeks of the date of purchase. You will not be charged provided that all the items that were part of the original packaging are returned.

How long will it take to have my home broadband connection up and running?

It could take up to 10 working days.

What’s a MAC code?

It's a code that lets you switch from one broadband provider to another without losing connection.

How do I switch from another broadband provider?

If you’re out of contract with your provider you can ask for a MAC code. If you’re still in contract you might be able to pay to end your contract and get your MAC code. Just enter the code when you join online and your broadband connection will be switched up to 10 working days later with no loss of service. If your provider won’t give you a MAC code, you may need to cancel the service before joining us.

When will my existing broadband service switch to Orange?

It could take up to 10 working days to transfer your service. Your broadband will be switched with no loss of service.

How will I actually change my connection set-up?

You’ll receive an installation CD with your modem that will automatically set up your broadband connection. If you want to keep using your existing modem, you’ll need to change your username and password in your modem and computer. If you’re not sure how to change them, please refer to the manufacturer’s set-up guide.

You can get up to 3.6Mbps with your Orange broadband dongle.

What factors will affect the connection speed?

As mobile broadband uses the Orange mobile network, your service is dependent on the quality of the coverage you receive at any location.

How much is the monthly data usage for the dongle?

Monthly data usage is 3GB, that is equivalent to around 100 hours of browsing, sending or receiving 2000 plain text emails, downloading 200 music tracks or downloading 65 three-minute videos.

You will start to be charged at the out of bundle rates:1.46p per MB or £15 per GB.
